My WONDERFUL husband booked Feathers Hotel in Cotswolds for me.
Woodstock is a really pretty town some nice shops and only a few minutes from Blenhiem Palace.

We stayed couple of times at their sister hotel, Lord of the Manor, that hotel is also really great.

Something mistake from the hotel we have to stay smaller room but they offer the afternoon tea for us. Room wasn't big but bigger than our narrow boat, we are happy to stay in that room.
I really like hotel room and the bathroom tiles.


The receptionist reminded me of Mr Oshima in the Kafka on the shore by Haruki Murakami.
He seems really belong to the hotel  and really kind.


Afternoon tea was really pretty and taste good.
Dinner was really tasty!( I forgot take the photos I only remember It was really good)

I've never been to the Blenhiem palace that I've been to Cotswolds several times.
Few times it's closed, this time is too expensive. Cost  19 pounds each.
We couldn't afford it...

コッツウォルズの中にある Woodstock,
Blenhiem palace から徒歩数分の位置にあるFeather Hotel. 実は姉妹ホテルのLoad of The Mannerには何回か泊まった事があるので期待大。
Woodstockの街もかわいく、雑貨屋さんやアンティークショップが数件あります。

何かの手違いで狭い部屋になってしまったお詫びにAfternoon Teaを無料でご招待。
通された部屋も大きくなかったけどNarrow Boat（その名の通りnarrow細い）
よりも広いので私達には満足。
部屋のセンスもバスルームの鮮やかなブルーも素敵。

レセプショニストも「海辺のカフカ」の図書館員、大島さんを思わせる
知的で繊細な佇まい。このホテルにふさわしい、レセプショニストでした。

Afternoon Teaも繊細で満足のいく物でしたね、中庭で頂きました。
大島さん（仮）がお勧めしてくれたフラワーティーを頼みましたが
やはり甘い物には普通のティーが良い様です。

ディナーも大満足！（としか言いようが無いのは写真も無く、美味しかった記憶しか無い、、）最近凝りすぎたフュージョンが多い中、凝りすぎず地味すぎず飽きのこない
お味でした（うろおぼえ）

Cotswoldsには何回も言った事があるのにBlenhiem palaceはまだ行った事が無かったので
行く予定でしたが、入場料の高さに恐れをなして（１人１９ポンド！）行けませんでした。世界遺産ですし、次回こそは１日満喫するつもりで入場したいと思います。
それを言い訳にまたこのホテルにお泊まりしたい、、、、
